Employment Opportunity: Construction Field Technician

The primary responsibility of the Construction Field Technician includes:
• Inspecting and performing service on homes under warranty by Ideal Homes.
* Types of repairs will be minor and cosmetic in nature.
• Assisting the Builder with community responsibilities relating to erosion control, community cleanliness, and various construction activities that fall outside any trade specific scope of work.
• Assisting the Builder in final preparation of homes to be delivered to the Customer Care Department and then to the homebuyer.
• Assisting the Builder in controlling construction variances; preparing materials for returns and securing material onsite.
• Assisting on upkeep of existing field home inventory.
• Responsible for maintaining customer service vehicle and all tools and supplies provided by Ideal Homes.
• The Construction Field Technician will:
* Have a high degree of integrity and honesty.
* Always be aware that his/her actions reflect our company core values and that these values should be considered in any interaction with fellow team members, homeowners, trade contractors and vendors.
* Be a self-motivated individual, displaying initiative, being punctual to all appointments and will be professional in dress, manners and conduct.
* Be courteous and safety-driven with a clean Motor Vehicle Report; will drive a company van.
• **Construction related experience is required.**

Interviews are done in 3 stages: 1st interview: initial face to face interview; possibly 20 minutes, 2nd interview: Work History interview; possible 3 hours, the 3rd and final interview: Compentence interview where you are interviewed by 4 of our management team members, one on one-an hour each; which will take 4 hours.
