Oklahoma's First Home For HOPE by Ideal Homes

July 23, 2014

Group Ribbon Cutting Homes for Hope and Ideal HomesWe are so excited. We dedicated our first home for HOPE this morning at 13209 S.W. 5th in Yukon. While Ideal Homes has always been involved in community charities and local projects, this is our first international philanthropy.

Located in our Somer's Pointe neighborhood, just south of Reno on Garth Brooks Blvd., we will make a $25,000 donation from the sale of this home to benefit HOPE International. HOPE International is a microfinance network dedicated to alleviating world poverty by providing financial services for impoverished families, and this donation is expected to help 125 families in the first six months. HOPE primarily provides microloans in 16 of the world's most impoverished countries. With loans as little as $55, entrepreneurs are able to start or expand small businesses and create a steady income that will lift their families out of poverty. All across the country, Homes for HOPE has reached out to more than 100 builders and Ideal Homes has answered the call to participate in the initiative that allows builders to have a worldwide impact simply by doing what they do best: build homes. Founded in 1990, Ideal Homes has consistently set the standard for innovative homebuilding and has been nationally recognized for the quality of its products and processes. As Oklahoma's leading homebuilder, we are locally owned and operated and are the winner of the premier Professional Builder of the Year Award, America's Best Builder Award and the prestigious National Housing Quality Gold Award.
